Only users with the roles Owner, Admin, or HR can access the personnel file. In a first step, the person with owner role has to give access to the admins or HR roles in their respective user profiles.
Where can you as the Owner set this up?
Go to the employee's profile > "Public Information" > "Personnel File" and check the box "This user is allowed to access personnel files".
The Personnel File includes all personal data like name, address or contact details. Further, it includes contract information, payroll, bank details and remuneration. You can also set up a history. To edit the data, simply click on the tab "Personnel files" and select the corresponding employee. You can then fill in the sections and fields as it is needed.
Additionally, you have the option to upload files to some sections / fields in the personnel file and make them visible to your employees. Click on the black crossed-out eye icon. As soon as it turns green, the document will be visible to the employee in his user profile. Of course, additionally the user receives an e-mail that documents have been uploaded for him.
The employee can find the uploaded documents in his user profile under "Documents" > "Personnel File" and the respective sub-file. They are available there for download.
