You can request an absence by using the button "+New absence" on the top right side or you can easily request it via Drag & Drop - and you can do it in both, your personal calendar as well as in your team calendar. When doing it in the team calendar, you can immediately see if any colleagues of your department or teams will be absent in the same time.
And this is how it works:
- Just clic on the button "+New absence" or move the cursor with the left mouse key pressed from the requested initial date to the requested final date. Of course, the software recognizes in both cases non-working days which were defined in your work schedule, as e.g. the weekend or bank holidays which were assigned to the location of your company.
- On the right side, a window for new absence request opens, which you can now edit and then save. Here is where you choose the desired absence type, your approver and - if required - your substitute.
