In 2014 when absence.io was founded, we had one goal: Help companies make their daily work easier. Thanks to you, who have put your trust in us, we have been able to  build a product that helps companies around the world.

Countless industries are currently being affected by necessary restrictions put in place in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. In times like these, our help is more important to us than ever.

What are we doing to adapt our business during the COVID-19 outbreak

Right now, staying at home is important to keep yourself and others safe. absence.io went full remote this week to help contain COVID-19 here in Munich, and we figured we weren't alone in trying to stay connected and on track. So, we have spent this week creating some strategy plans to make collaborating at a distance even easier. And of course we want to share those with you:

Create a plan on how to stay connected

• Daily updates with virtual Stand-Ups

We at absence.io have decided on a daily virtual Standup via Slack.  We agreed on a specific time were each of us posts a short update of what he/she is working on:

You can also ask for a call that can be done right after the standup. 

• We created a team Google Hangout link 

which is used to do our virtual meetings. This is just an easy way to keep all your team informed and on track.
