Have you noticed that the overtime hours in the graphical overview show different numbers depending on the selected filter?
The available filter options allow you to display various time periods and types of evaluations. In the background, the system uses different data sources based on your chosen settings (e.g. work schedule, time entries, break rules, initial balances, etc.).
That’s why it’s important to select the time range carefully in order to get a meaningful and accurate overview.
⏱ Tip: Choose the correct time period
To ensure that all relevant data is accurately displayed, it’s important to select an appropriate time range. We recommend setting the period from the initial date to yesterday. This way, the system can include your potential initial balance and only uses completed data from the previous day.
Why might this be the better view for you?
If you set the time range to “now”, the system is still working with dynamic data – meaning the current day is still in progress.
This can lead to temporary discrepancies based on your configured defaults.

✅ Solution:
Set the time range to “yesterday” – this ensures that the data from the previous day is already complete and correctly recorded. This gives you a reliable and useful display of your overtime hours.
