Handling of several company accounts

Your company has several accounts at absence.io, maybe even in different countries. Now you and maybe some of your colleagues have been chosen to get access to all these accounts in order to administrate them and - if needed - make adaptions. But is this possible? And is it complicated?

The good news is: yes, it's possible! And there are even different options, depending on what you shall do in the accounts.

Option 1:

If you have a simple user role and need access to several company accounts, then it is necessary that you have user profiles in all of these accounts. Of course, it is possible to use the same e-mail address for all accounts.

In order to jump from one account to another, go to your user profiles and clic on the arrow on the right side. Then, clic on the + sign on bottom and log into the next account. As you have a user profile in several accounts, our software now needs to know in WHICH account to log in. For that reason, you are asked to fill in the company ID, which you find on left top side of your company profile window.

As soon as you have typed in your e-mail address, password and company ID, this account is added. Follow these steps for any other account you might add. Now you can switch from one account to the other, directly from your user profile.

If you are an approver and authorize absence requests from another account, you can do so either directly in the e-mail you have received or you jump to the corresponding company account and approve there.

Option 2:

For this option, it is necessary to have a higher role (HR, admin or owner).

First of all, you proceed as described in option 1. Then you write an e-mail to our support team (support@absence.io) or call us by +49 - (0)89 - 143 777 477 and ask for access to the MultiView function. Once we have activated it, you can see in the black main menu on top a new tab called MultiView, just beside the settings tab. Clicking on it a drop-down menu opens, from which you select the view you are interested in.

Have fun with our solution!
